DREAM 403

Last night’s dream was an emotional roller-coaster, more like a Spielberg movie with great cinematography. Here’s what I remember.

I was on my deathbed, and the doctors said there was a technology that can I opt-in to experience a mega-dream (or something like that). So they gave me a VR headset, and I was in this metaverse where all the people I knew from my life were engaging with me. It pictured the places I visited as a kid. It showed me beautiful landscapes, animals, and architectural wonders. I even met movie stars, writers, and bloggers that inspired me. Then at some point, when I felt it was the end, someone said, “have a cold one.” Then I took the headset off and wiped the tears.

Woke up. Cold as Hell. Hugged my spouse and went back to sleep.

Why cold as Hell?
Negative intensifier. Also a reference to Dante’s Inferno, where Satan is portrayed as a giant demon, frozen mid-breast in ice at the center of Hell.
